I have used ADO components to connect to an Oracle 8i database.
Whenever the application compiles and runs, I get an exception:

EVariantInvalidOpError with message 'Invalid variant operation'. 
Process stopped. Use Step or Run to continue.

---------------------------


Please advice me on how to resolve this exception.
