HI all, been a long time and I need to do some db stuff. I have version 6 enterprise, and want to initially connect to data in access(yes, I know) and then eventually switch to mysql. I will use a datamodule. I am doing the built in tutorial now, and it uses dbexpres to connect to a bde database. I noticed in teh TSqlConnection method component, mysql is an option, but nothing about access. When this switch happens, I want it to be "seemless" Any suggestion/tutorials appreciated. I have been out of programming for a while, and never really did db work with bcb anyway. Thanks Jay
