I have just installed BDS2006 and am trying to get the DBExpress component up and running. I want to connect to a database server by IP address, so I place the IP into the HostName parameter, but when I attempt to connect, I get the error 'access denied for user@localhost'. It is clearly ignoring my HostName. What's up?
