Compiling Midas into C++Builder application executable

I'm trying to compile Midas into our DbExpress C++Builder
application, so that we do not have to distribute midas.dll
separately (we're using Client DataSets with the Firebird
database). I've tried adding "ctrl.dcu" and "midaslib.dcu" to the
Project files and doing a Build All (like the Help Files say to
do), but this does not work: I still get "error loading midas.dll"
even after unregistering midas.dll on the test machine. Am I doing
something wrong? Should I be using different files than the
"dcu's"?

Look for "How to statically link dbExpress drivers" in the readme.txt file of
C++ Builder 6.
