I have BDS 2006, and I was wondering if either dbexpress or even BDE 
would be updated to work with later versions of MySql (4.1?  5.0?) on 
Windows.

Connecting to 5.0.16 doesn't let me show tables, and executing any 
command gives me the dreaded "execute failed.  commands out of sync; you 
can't run this command now" messages.

I can't connect at all to 4.1.16 because I get "vendor initialization 
failed" messages.  I can't even find the "official" supported version 
(4.0.24) anywhere to download anymore; I'm trying 4.0.26.
