Hi, I am using BDS2006 dbExpress3.0 with the following settings and a Sybase ASE Server charset set to iso8859-9. I could not set the dbExpress driver to use the correct charset, I tried to use "ServerCharset" option set with ISO8859_9, iso88599, is8859-9, latin5, win1254, cp1254, 1254 or iso-8859-9, etc. all combinations. Actual setting should be iso88599 or cp1254, but the dbExpress driver does not pass the setting to ASE Client I think. Any help, idea , info will be appreciated lot. Kind Regards, Alper YAZGAN ... The same situation also applies to the case when using CppB2007 with DBX4.0 (dbxase30.dll Build 11.0.2709.7128). The main problem is that dbx driver does not pass the ServerCharset option to the database client driver (ASE CTLib Driver). Alper YAZGAN
