Does anyone know how to statically link the midas library so midas.dll does
not have to be distributed with an application that uses TClientDataset?  I
know this can be done with delphi by simply adding midaslib to the 'uses'
clause.

You can statically link the DLL adding midas.lib to the project in C++ Builder.
