Does anyone to how to lock a record so that no one else can view or edit the same record while its being changed by another user? Is this done with transactions or something else? I have a working transaction component and have tried entering different parameters but I am unable to lock the record from being viewed or written to until the other user is finished. Currently, I am unable to stop a users update from overwriting another users update. I'm using the IB Express components and IB v6. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance --Thad
