Error in TQuery

I am trying to execute a SQL statment like :
select * from tblusersubtypecode where chrusersubtypecode in (select
distinct chrusersubtypecode from tblvalidtypes where chrusertypecode = 'DS')

it works fine if I try to execute it frm inside the "SQL Explorer". But when
I try to open the TQuery with this statment in the SQL property it trwos an
Exception with the message "Capability not supported".
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
