While working in C++Builder, version 4, we encountered a problem in DBGrid component using ORACLE database. The essence of the problem is: If a number of lines in the DBGrid substantially exceeds the visible number of the lines on the screen, after alteration of the IndexName of one of the Key-Field of the corresponding table, we watch the following confusing picture: if we try to move the selected string of the DBGrid to the end of the list by using the right scroll-bar, we see instead of the last line the line before the last one. In case we use the keyboard down the screen, this doesn't occur. Neither it occurs, when we use PARADOX database. We would kindly ask your urgent assistant !!!
