Hi, Carlos! MIDAS is a way of hiding from an application what distribution technology is being used. With MIDAS, one can use sockets, DCOM, CORBA, etc. without revealing it to the app, which means you can change from one to the other or heterogeneously mix them without incorporating dependencies on the specific technology you use to implement distribution. ------ Mark Cashman, TeamB C++ Builder http://www.temporaldoorway.com/programming/index.htm C++ Builder, JBuilder programming information Home of The C++ Builder Programmer's Webring - Join us! ------
