Hi & thanks for reading... I am using a NT 4.0 server that is a DB server (SQL server 7.0 using SQL Server authentication) and a web server (IIS). It also serves as the middle-tier in my DB application. The server app provides/exposes the data. I have written a client app that is an active form. The ocx & htm files are on the NT server pc. I can access the ocx just fine from the server itself but when I go remote here are my issues: 1) When using TDCOMConnection to connect, the ocx loads ok when I reduce IEs security setting but then I get an access denied message just after remote logon window appears in the OnLogin event of the TDCOMConnection. (again it works locally) 2) When I try to use a TSocketConnection, I get just as far but I always receive an access violation. Also, what is the proper way to call a custom mehtod within the server remote data module. I understand the help file shows this properly for a TDCOMConnection but not for a TSocketConnection. Also, what plugin do I need for ocxs to work with Netscape? Thanks, Rich
