Hello, I am converting a Client/Server database software (MS-SQL -> ADO -> BCB5) into a multi-tier solution using BCB5 Enterprise. The principal form will be: MS-SQL7 -> ADO -> AppServer -> SocketConnection -> ThinClient. The database has a large set of different user profiles, so an individual login is necessary to determine the functions the frontend should present to that user. Now I am wondering how to pass the account information entered by the user from the frontend over the socketserver to the AppServer and the Database. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. </mike>
