The path is set correctly; however, I don't see any environment variable for
<OracleHome>. Is this suppose to be set as well?

The vendor init is set to oci.dll and the dll32 is sqlora8.dll.

When I try to connect to the database through the BDE admin utility, I get the
error message:
    General SQL error.
ORA-01041: internal error. hostdef extension doesn't exist.
    Alias: ORACLE

I cannot find any reference that indicates where the hostdef extension is suppose
to be set. Where is this set?
