Is this the correct way of connecting to an MTS object without having to
import its .TLB or
having to define an inteface.
// Connect to MTS object
Variant vConnection;
vConnection=CreateRemoteComObject("SERVER",
StringToGUID("{E3ED1587-FC6E-11D2-B54D-00C04F619D75}"));
// Ado ( have to include ADODB_TLB.h)
TCOM_Recordset rs=CoRecordset::Create();
Variant vIntermediate;
vIntermediate=vConnection.OleFunction("FunctionInMTS");
rs=(Recordset*)vIntermediate.byref;
I can then link rs to a Microsoft DataGrid.
I use BCB4 and everything works correctly.
I would like to know if this is the correct way to do it.
Thanks.
