So far I have built 3 servers for my app., which expose about 50 tables (small tables) in total. My client piece uses client datasets and various controls etc. I would say that so far, this is a superb "text book" quality client/server app. The problem I'm having, one which I kind of suspected all along, is that the maximum number of clients that can run is 6, after that it seems the "Server machine" runs out of resources, and I get a message "There is not enough memory for this operation" when I try to start the 7th client. I need to support a user community of 30. It seems I'm far from that, and I have a substantial amount of development work to do. I'll be disappointed if I'm forced to abandon the 3 tier approach. I'm using the following: BCB 3.0 H.W: Dell, 500mg. ram, huge disk Sybase SQL server. (This is the only thing running on the machine) -- Tom Barfoot
