Hi! I'm developing client/server application using MIDAS (BDB4 En + Up1, Up2). On client part I'm using DCOMConnection to connect to appserver. Both client and server parts work fine in the same (development) machine. Problem occurs when I try to deploy client on another machine. Server machine: NT4 Client: Win95 OSR2 Client reports with "Class is not registered" at startup. Server indicates that remote data module for this client is created (OnDMCreate). I tried to register server by just running it at client machine. No changes. I tried to register server TLB using tregsvr -t server.tlb. No changes. Problem occures also on Win98, WinNT 4.0 (!) as client machine. If I try to use SocketConnection instead of DCOMConnection ( socketsrv on server machine is started) the result does not change. INTERESTING: I've installed BCB on client machine - client WORKS! I think - problem is in BCB installation proccess. May be it replaces some system dll, but install.txt or deploy.txt does not contain any information on these changes. This application was originally developed using BCB 3 and SocketServer. There were no problems. Help me! BOSS will kill me :) CyberNIK
