Dear colleagues,

I have been asked to start writing a Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
software. The client wants to see the Bill of Materials (BOM) working
first.

For a multi-level product, the BOM is normally composed by a
parent-component relationship with the information of their respective
level.
Has anyone implemented a code in CBuilder to add/edit/view/delete a
product structure?

I also need to verify if stock of items are available when I run the
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) module. This module explodes the
BOM and check if Stock On Hand are available to manufacture the final
product. Has anyone done this as well?

Any assistance will be appreciated.
I will make the source code available for those who help me.

P.S. - The client is aware that there are standard off-the-shelf
packages in the market. However, he wants to have a local person to
maintain the system and to develop a system that meets his needs and
wants.
