Hi all, Our next project will be using a multi-tier-philosophy somewhere along the lines of -NT-thin-Client (BCB4 C/S) -TUXEDO(maybe) -Unix-Server-processes (OCI and c++) -Unix-ORACLE-DB We're looking for hints and suggestions for our research into these technologies. CB Unleashed, the Online-Help and snatches from this newsgroup and dejanews so far seem to be limited to cases where the Server is NT-based and thus can be implemented via BCB4. So any advice as to cross-platform development would be appreciated. We'd particularly like to know whether and how we can keep the advantages of the data-aware components of BCB even if the Server is not implemented via any of the BCB-components (MIDAS, Provider, Broker, etc.). Are there class-libraries for unix that implement the same protocols? Please direct your answers to schenke@mail.osp-dd.de Thanks in advance, Schenke
