Thanks if anyone can give more guidance.
(BC++ 3) on Windows 98 machine.

Any time I try to make a connection with any of the examples in the
midas
section I get the same error.

Cannot load an IDAPI service librar.

I have read several articales about this

This one for BC++ 3.X

Doesnt seem to help since ODBC is installed and I am not even using
ODBC for this connection.

mentions making sure this file
IDPROV32.DLL
is in BDE directory and is registered.
I cant find this file anywhere.

I have reinstalled interbase client and Server several times
as well as the BDE.

Any ideas???

Follow up question.
Can I use winsight32 to trap the exact library file this is looking
for??
