We are in a Client/Server architecture. We are doing a multi-tier application. Server application runs in a Windows NT and Client application in Windows 95. We are using a MidasConnection component and sockets . Server application is running in the Windows NT PC and when we put the property "connected" = true in the client PC, client application creates a new Server application, it doesn't connect to the application running yet at the server. Therefore, if Server application is running in a windows 95 where we have developed the server application, and we put the the property "connected" = true in the client PC, client application does not boot a new Server application. It occurrs only with this Windows 95 PC. In others windows 95 pc, it doesn't work. Scktsrv.exe is running in the server. Sometimes we can't select the Servername property of MidasConnection and another times we can select it but then the ServerGUID doesn't appear. We have selected other Midas components: SockectConnection, DCOMConnection and RemoteServer and it does not work. Thanks in advance. Clara Daz (cdiaz@fcc.es)
