Greetings All, I've got an 3 Tier application running nicely using socket connection objects. At the moment I'm using the Borland supplied "scktsrvr.exe" as the socket server, but that means I have to log in to the NT Server file server and boot it. I assume that the Borland supplied "scktsrvc.exe" is designed to be used as an NT service, but I've had no luck installing it on my test server. It's apparently not self registering and I've had no luck at all manually adding keys to the registry. I can see it listed in the services manager and I can enable/disable it and configure it to auto start, but I get a "can't find file" error message when I try to start it. The executable is located in the System32 sub directory as it should be. I have found no documentation discussing these socket server executables. Can someone point me in the right direction? I should add that the use of TSocketConnection objects in my apps. is mandatory. Thanks, John
