I have a sybase SQL anywhere database, with lots of table defined with
an autoincrement field. When I connect to this database from BC++B4, the
autoincrement primary key is not recognized either as a primary key nor
as an autoincrement field.
With a navigator I am not allowed to refresh the data ("table does not
support this operation because it is not uniquely indexed"). However I
do have a unique index on my primary key (the SQL explorer does not see
it either while Sybase SQL Central can see it ). And I can only insert
rows by providing the primary key value by hand.
Certainly I did not understand something. Could anyone give me some
hints, or direct me to some help or documentation I could read.
Thank you in advance for any help.
