Hi: I need to provide an executable to connect to a database through ODBC. Users insert, delete and update data through some forms. This can be implemented very easy with C++ Builder Client/Server using some data controls like TTable, TQuery, TDataSource. I suppose this easy way of using database is provided by BDE. But my customer does not have any license of any Borland product. What can i do to preserve the easy way of programming ? buy a BDE license ? How much it cost ? Install a BDE dll ? or programs developed with C++ Builder Client/Server carry some BDE and therefore we do not any more tools to connect easy to an ODBC data source ? Many thanks in advance.
