Folks, I'm looking for a commercial ad hoc query engine that can be linked into the client side of a three tier BCB 4 application. The engine will be used by persons who know nothing of SQL and should be capable of incremental searches, and able to find sub strings within a string. It should also not be bothered by the structure of the target database; at present, the target is an MS SQL Server database, but there is pressure to migrate to Oracle 8. Any suggestions will be welcome. Regards, John
