hello,

I am a user who is using MIDAS the first time. My biggest question for
now is the Application Server which handles all communication to the
Interbase server.
Starting with my Application Server I made a provider for every table
to access. I ran into a problem using more than about 35 providers
(giving some strange error-messages). Later on I discovered that you
can do the whole thing by using one provider and using Datarequest
event to change SQL (in the client) to get the table you want.  But:
is this not more time-consuming than the first method and will it give
me problems when I have a lot of users connecting to the Application
Server (errors)?

Please help me on this.
