Dear Sir/Madam I'm working on a multi-tier app Just a simple one that exports a read-only dataset the client can pass in some data where is used to reconstruct the where clause on the dataset (a TQuery on the server), my problem is that when the client exits my server exits and gives me errors, about instructions referencing invalid memory, the borland examples don't do this but then their server keeps going too, I am using the apartment model for the threading, but I have tried single and Both, these just crashed when more than one client connected. The exception only occurs when I run the server from another machine using an IP address for machine name I've tried using a netbui name and no error, but TCP/IP (i.e. IP address' or DNS) and I get these exceptions, also does any one know why I get one Server per client even if all my clients are the same and running from the same box?
