Your Client Dataset should be linked to a TQuery object on your app. server. The SQL statement of the query object would use the "ORDER BY <fieldname>" statement. If you don't know SQL, better learn it quick! It's much easier to use TQuery objects in a multitier app. Edgars wrote: > Is it possible to order TClientDataSet by lookup field > > Thanks > Edgars
