If I use a TTable (BDE) to update all the records in a paradox table with
100,000 records, using:
while( !ClienteActas->Eof )
{ ClienteActas->Edit();
ClienteActas->Fields->FieldByName("folio")->AsString = "";
ClienteActas->Post();
ClienteActas->Next();
}
it take just a few seconds ( less than 10 seconds) Here, ClienteActas is a
TTable.
But if I do the same with a ClientDataSet, (Here, ClienteActas is a
ClientDataSet) it takes more than one hour or gives an out of memory error.
How can I do it more efficient?
Thank you
