Hi all, I have an (2 tier) application I built that is very similiar to the SQL Explorer application that comes with BCB. I just started the process of remaking it as a 3 tier application. In my original app I use a 'Session->GetAliasName(myComboBox->Text)' to populate a combo box with the availbale DB's for the user to choose from at run time. What whould be the easiest way to implement the same functionality via a TProvider and ClientDataset? In other words, populate a ComboBox on the Client App with DataBases the AppServer has to its disposal. Hopefully that makes sense.... Thanks in advance, Rob
