This error is a bug in the BCB3  it should be fixed in BCB4

for now you can solve it by including the following function in the module
where you use the TMidasConnection

void __fastcall TRemoteServer::SetComputerNameA(const System::AnsiString
Value)
{
 if (Value != FComputerName)
  {
    SetConnected(False);
    FComputerName = Value;
   }
}
