I've been a little confused with what single/two/multi-tiered applications are. I'm working on a database system for a fairly sized company, doing a complete Sales/Inventory/Accounting system for them. I'll be using Oracle 8i as the background, and BCB5 as the foreground application builder. There will probably be about 10 computers accessing this system, and possibly sometime in the future a remote access from a different location. Would this need the multi-tiered design approach? I'm doing this with a friend and it's the first project we're doing together, so it's a big stepping stone for both of us to our future. If there's anyone that can give other advice, please do so.
