Hi all,

At the moment i have a program which uses paradox tables.

Iam planning to port the appl. to an other database.
which database should i use?

below some information :

The appl. will be use in a network environment. Untill 3 computers it must
work in a peer-to-peer environment. (no dedicated server). if use of more
then 3 computers we will setup a dedicated server.(win2000,NT,Linux,Novell)

It must be possible for my customers to access for example the same record
at one time.(not for editting).

At the moment i have a paradox table which contains about 30 fields. After 1
year of working with the software their will be    about 300.000 records.
the second year 600.000 etc.etc.
I also have an other table which also contains 30 fields and about 20.000
records.
And I have about 10 tables whith a maximum of 200 records.

Any tip would be welcome.
