If you don't need to write to either table, use a TQuery component as your dataset and write a 'multi-table' or a 'join' query to access the two tables into one dataset. If you do need write to the tables, look at using aggregate fields - chapter 19 of your developers guide. I can't give you more details on this as I'm still working this out too. Peter Tersteeg.
