Server Application running on machines

Hi,

I have started to look at the midas components with builder (5) and have
created basic server and client applications with a DCOM connection. When I
run the client on the same machine as the server the server starts up and I
can connect to it fine, I can then run more instances of the client
application and each time they connect to the server fine, so on this
machine I have one instance of the Server running with many instances of the
client running. The problem is when I register the server application on a
different machine (by running it from that machine over a network) and then
I run the client application from that machine it always starts the server
on that machine as well. So every machine that I have on a network will run
the server and the client, however I was hoping that I could run the server
on one main machine and the other machines on the network would access the
database through that connection and not start a new connection. Is this
possible, and if so how do you achieve this ?

Many thanks

Andrew
