Hi ,

I have create a clientdataset that does not use provider , because I only
want to use it as a swapper container as my data , I want to insert my owned
data to the clientdataset when it has been opened , so I have write some
code in the afteropen event :

clientdataset1->Append() ;
//set value
clientdataset1->Post() ;
clientdataset1->MergeUpdateLog() ;

in the other form I open the clientdataset :
if (clientdataset1->Active) clientdataset1->Close() ;
clientdataset1->Open() ;

the dbgrid will dynamic bound the dataset's field , so if the dataset has
not been opened , I will not see the field caption in the dbgrid , but when
I open the clientdataset , I can see the caption , so maybe I am sure that
the clientdataset has been opened.

Why this happened? maybe I have another choice to do it ? I do not want to
write another function to insert my data , the prefer place the dataset's
event .
