I have no idea. It works for me. I've written applications (in Delphi) and
articles (in Delphi and C++Builder) and book chapters (for C++Builder 5's
Developer's Guide) and done conference sessions and my InternetExpress
applications were always capable of updating the database (using
ApplyUpdates).

For an on-line article, see http://www.drbob42.com/examines and select the
March 2000 article - previously published in Visual Developer Magazine, and
using Delphi code, but the idea should be the same.

Of course, feel free to check out C++Builder 5's Developer's Guide which has
long and in-depth chapers on MIDAS and WebBroker (as well as the combination
of the two, called InternetExpress).
