Greetings-

I'm looking for a few suggestions/ideas regarding linking a C-ISAM database (running on HP-9000/UX 11.x) with Windows apps utilizing Borland data access components.
Right now, I've managed to put together some specialized connection & dataset components; however, this, of course, is leading to some rather importable & scale-hostile client applications.

Here's what i've managed to come up with as possible solutions:
1. Upgrade our database - currently not an option due to budget
2. Find a 3rd party driver - also not much of an option, s.a.a.
3. create an OCBC driver - a lot of work?? and $$ to Microsoft
4. create an IDAPI driver for use with the BDE
5. continue with my specialized components & hope sooner than later we will purchase a new database.

I'm not sure what's involved with options 3 & 4, but they seem to be the best direction to head as far as RAD & future scalability. 
Suggestions are welcome.
