Hello, I Have a few questions regarding MTS and MIDAS. I Have developed some MTS components (Remote DataModules) and installed them in MTS environment. Basically When I want to fetch Data from My remot DataModule, I Send an SQL Statement to the MTS objects whichs changes SQL property of the QUeryobject in the RDM and the use a TClientDataSet to get the data from the DataSet Provider. Basically I have the following lines of codes.. // Conect to AppServer ..... MyRDMDisp.SetSql(SqlStmt); MyClientDataSet->Open(); ...... // Release Connection This seems to work well. However, Since MIDAS 3 allows to write Stateless Applications, Then I thought that What I have been doing is totally in correct amy may cause troubles. Since, after I clas MyRdmDisp.SetSql(..) MTS should release my Object Reference whcih causes MyClientDataSet->Open() statement to be directed toanother MTS Object... Do I think correct. and shoul modify my MTS Components and ClientDataSets so that I Fetch Data using TClientDataSet's CommandText property. Thanks
