Hi there and thanks for reading, I'm trying to create a Master-Detail relation between two ClientDataSets. When I call 'ApplyUpdates' for the Master-ClientDataSet after inserting a record in both, the Detail-ClientDataSet also gets posted, but not applied to the database. So I call 'ApplyUpdates' for the Detail-ClientDataSet too. All goes well, except for the Detail-ClientDataSet. It's data does appear in the database, but all data-aware components linked to the Detail-ClientDataSet appear empty. When I call Refresh(), the link between the master and the Detail-ClientDataSet is "Lost" and all detail information isn't displayed anymore (for no Master-record). We're using SQL Server 6 and C++ Builder 4.0. What could be the problem? I do use the Detail-ClientDataSet for certain Lookup Fields in the Master-ClientDataSet. The ClientDataSets are linked to TDataSetProviders which are linked to TQuery's, all on the same form... Help would be greatly appreciated, 'cause I've been working on it for two days... Thanks in advance, Erwin.
