Hello,

  I am new to Borland C++. I am trying to connect to an Informix database with C++. I have all of the Informix drivers on my client machine (and they work for other applications). I can use "ilogin" to test the drivers. However, I cannot define an alias in the BDE tool. I'd appreciate any help you folks might be able to give. 

  Also, other than the manuals that came with the C++ installation, are there any good manuals that you'd recommend?
