Hi, Donald!

The folks in borland.public.cppbuilder.database.sqlservers deal with
questions relating to client-server databases. The .multi-tier group is
focused on n-tier applications using tools like MIDAS.

As for books, I'd recommend the new book on BCB5 from SAMS (shameless
plug from one of the 30 or so authors) - it's called "C++ Builder 5
Developer's Guide". Also the "Learn C++ Builder n in x days" and
"C++Builder n Unleashed" books are great. For advanced (i.e. component
developers) books on Delphi seem to be an important (and often the sole)
resource, though the new BCB book may change all that.
