I have an app built in bcb 4 that retrieves 30,000 + rows from a MS Access database. As the processing goes on it consumes more and more memory until it hangs. As a test, I ran thru a couple of thousand records and then closed my query, and the memory utilization dropped. Is there a setting somewhere or a method (I would prefer a method) that I can use that will minimize the size of the buffer used to retain the cursor, so that memory will be freed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Joe
