I had the same problem only 2 days ago. After a lot of struggling and looking around, I found out that the problem occurs if the patches of BCB 4 Enterprise are applied. The problem is located in the server itself, not the client. I made the same client /server programs on another computer and they worked fine. Then I uninstalled BCB 4 and re-installed it wihout the patches and it worked. Maybe there is another solution but since I'm not a DCOM expert, it's the only thing I can suggest. Of course there is always the possibility that other bugs might arise......... Manos
