The dreaded "Could Not Find Object" error

Greetings,

BCB 4x Enterprise.

I have a multitier app. that addresses an MS SQL database located on one
of our NT file servers. The application server has been installed on my
two test NT servers, and I have had no problems running the client app.
on a number of other PCs.

I have used InstallShield Express to create install disks for the app.
server.
I installed the app. server on one of our system file servers so that I
could demonstrate how MIDAS works in the real world and justify the
expense of buying a license.

The client, running on my PC starts the app. server normally, but when
the client attempts to activate a Client Dataset, I get the above error
#2208 which is listed as a BDE error.

This probably means that I'm missing a file on the file server to which
the app. server has been newly installed, but for the life of me I can't
figure out what it is. Installation of the app. server on my test file
servers did not use InstallShield and was haphazard at best, but it
works!

All file servers are running NT Server and they all belong to the same
domain. Any help is welcome!

Regards,
John
