I ab using bcb5 and firebird database to build a multi tiered application.

I am trying to set up a master detail relationship on the client side.

I can set the MasterSource of the detail table property but am unable to
bring up the field link designer.  When I try , it displays a message that I
am an invalid user on the database.  How do I specify the fields that link
the 2 tables ?  How do I connect to the database at design time ?  I have
both the "LoginPrompt" and "Connected" properties to "true" for the socket
connection.
