I am developing a 3-tier application using oracle as the database and win2000 as client & server. I am using sockets to communicate between the machines. If I manually start the server program and then the client then all runs fine. If the server program is not running and I start the client program then I get the 'Unable to load oci.dll on the server' error message on the server. oci.dll is in oracle\bin. Could anyone tell me how to get the automagic startup of the server to recognize the oracle dll?
