Hi, 
I had the same error. My somewhat heuristic, non - analytical solution was:
there were non-alphanumeric characters in the folder name where I stored the projects that raised the described linker error. After renaming, the problem kept reappearing. After deleting the folder completely and making a new one with only alphanum chars, the problem was solved.
