Hi,

I'm working in BCB 5 Ent and use TTable/TDataSet components a lot. In
previous deployments I used the built-in InstallShield for BCB5 and it knew
which dlls and bpls my app needed.

Now I'm using InstallShield Express, which is nice, but I have to choose
what to include by myself.

Do I have to include the BDE MergeModule files to deploy a project that uses
TDataSet and TTable? I can see how to do it---the question is whether it's
necessary just because my app uses those components.

I don't want to install the whole BDE on user machines unless I have to,
just the dlls and bpls they really need, if possible.

Thanks,
Wally
