hi

I have developed an application under C++Builder 6 on xp and everything is
fine.

I have created a standalone exe for ease of deployment including the rtl.

When the application, which includes a StringGrid component, is deployed on
Win98 the display of the grid is wrong. Columns are missing on the right.

Is there something I have missed in the 'object inspector' or is this a
problem.

thanks help would be appreciated

check your screen resolution and font size (large font/normal font)
settings on your target pc. Often you have to account for changes in
the screen resolutions on target pcs. HTHs

many thanks for your input

the component does not rescale automatically depending on the 'large/small'
font settings in windows.

I simply rescaled myself using the 'PixelsPerInch' property of the Form on
which the component was placed.

thanks
